Shopping

As Washington State’s fastest growing community, Vancouver is continuously adding new stores to shop and explore. The following areas offer the greatest concentration of shops, but the savvy shopper will want to explore other area shopping opportunities.

Vancouver Farmers Market – The Farmer’s Market is an eclectic mixture of food, high-end crafts, farm-direct produce and thriving nursery stock. From April through October, each year, the street adjacent to Esther Short Park comes alive with 150+ vendors offering local produce, plants, arts and crafts. Food booths with local and international specialties keep the crowd well-fed while entertainers provide live music. Esther Short Park between 6th and 8th streets, downtown Vancouver.

Uptown Village — The upper Main Street area of Vancouver offers a mixture of antique stores, gift shops, restaurants and boutiques. Seasonal activities and festivals are scheduled throughout the year here. From downtown Vancouver, head north on Main Street.

Heart of Vancouver — Art galleries, clothing and shoe stores, gift and specialty shops are all found in downtown Vancouver. When you want to take a break from shopping, enjoy Noon and evening concerts in Esther Short Park, or catch a flick at Regal Cinema’s 12-screen movie theater. When you get hungry, there are many wonderful restaurants in the Heart of Vancouver to keep you fueled for a full day of shopping.

Westfield Vancouver — More than 120 specialty shops, five major anchor retailers and a food court with 10 restaurants are located at Southwest Washington’s largest mall. Plenty of parking for cars and buses. Located off SR-500 just west of I-205.

Downtown Camas — The downtown area of Camas, just east of Vancouver, is truly a treasure to be found. The quaint, tree-lined street running through the heart of the city boasts a variety of shops, eateries and the fully restored Liberty Theater (circa 1927), all within walking distance. From antiques to eclectic boutique shops offering ladies fashions, accessories, jewelry and home décor. From Hwy 14 heading east, exit at the business loop, (6th Ave.) then turn right at the mill. Turn left on 4th Ave.
